TDLC.COM Launches New Online Math Product
Internet publisher and developer TDLC.COM, a Division of Larson Texts, Inc., announces the August 14th release of its web-based math program, Online Math, by Ron Larson, Carolyn F. Neptune and David C. Falvo. It is a comprehensive and powerful Internet tutorial program, supporting both the NCTM and AMATYC Math Standards.
Online Math currently covers topics from basic math, prealgebra and algebra, with plans to increase topical coverage through intermediate algebra.
Online Math is a subscription-based tutorial program. Key features include instant textbook correlation, diagnostic and prescriptive pre- and post-testing, and an Automated Tracking and Assessment System for creating transferable student portfolios.
"Quality math tutorial programs such as these provide a tremendous benefit to the students in that they allow them to get math help anytime, anywhere, while assuring faculty that the help the student receives is correlated to their textbook and curriculum," says Dr. Terry Giles, Dean of Graduate Studies at Gannon University in Erie, PA.
"It's great that students will be able to use the Internet for tutorial math help," says math instructor Ann Kraus of Penn State-Behrend, in Erie, PA. "A web-based approach really makes a lot of sense, especially with student's hectic schedules" she goes on.
