TDLC develops and publishes web-based learning materials. Our products are written by teacher-authors, produced by professional developers, and are available online anytime, anywhere.


Secure Payments

Our system uses Secure Sockets Layer to transmit payment information (such as your credit card number) over the Internet. Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is a security protocol that provides communications privacy over the Internet. The protocol allows client/server applications to communicate in a way that is designed to prevent eavesdropping, tampering, or message forgery.

Credit Cards

Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50.00 of fraudulent charges. In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.


Passwords should not be:

  • dictionary words (including foreign and technical dictionaries)
  • anyone's or anything's name (including your username)
  • a place
  • a proper noun
  • a Social Security number
  • a birth date
  • a telephone number
  • any information that could be readily learned or guessed
  • a simple pattern of keys on the keyboard
  • any of the above reversed or concatenated
  • any or the above with digits prepended or appended

Passwords should be:

  • a combination of at least seven letters and numbers

One possible method for picking a good password is to make up your own acronym. For example, you should use a seven letter password would be ysua7lp.

Javascript, Active Scripting, and ECMA-Script

Our systems use JavaScript, a simple programming language that enables us to enhance the look of and add interactive functionality to web pages.


Cookies are a general mechanism which a web server uses to both store and retrieve information on a web client. This information is called a cookie, for no particular reason.

TDLC uses cookies to remember your logon. If your browser did not accept those cookies, you will be unable to use this system. This cookie will be cleared when you quit your web browser.


The information you provide to TDLC is for internal use only. We collect it to provide the best support for you. We will not share any information about you with any third parties without informing you. Note that several of the products we offer are published by third parties. Please read the TDLC Subscriber Agreement to see what information we may share with them.

Note that some of our products collect data to track your progress. This information will never be shared with any third party, including the publisher, without your express consent.
