The Syllabus Manager is provided to let you easily create and post assignments for TDLC hosted web publications.
With Syllabus Manager, you can create links to readings, examples, exercises, and additional resources from the included database.
Using the related link feature, you can also create links to any web site, including your own.
All data is stored on the server, and the program runs entirely in your web browser.
We designed this so that you do not have to worry about downloading, saving, or posting syllabi.
There is no program or data to install and you can run it from any compatible browser wherever you happen to be.
You will be presented with the following screen your first time in the Syllabus Manager.
Your first step to putting your syllabus online will be to create a new syllabus. Click here for instructions on creating a syllabus.

The Syllabus Editor lets you modify your syllabus by adding or deleting links and comments.
You can also add a schedule and modify the title and section information.
NOTE: The work you do in the Syllabus Editor is automatically saved each time you make a change.
There are three major parts to the Syllabus Editor, called panes.
- The top pane is the Syllabus Information pane.
This pane allows you to change the course
Title and Section.
You can also Export your syllabus, add a Schedule, and Preview your syllabus.
- The bottom left pane is the Syllabus pane.
This pane shows the
Session and Assignment you are editing.
Your syllabus consists of a number of sessions, roughly analogous to a lesson.
Each day in the schedule will correspond to a single session.
Sessions can be given a Title for reference.
This makes the syllabus independent of a schedule.
Each session consists of a number of assignments, each corresponding to a web link.
Assignments include readings, examples, exercises, other resources, and your own related links.
You can also add comments anywhere within the session, to provide instructions not related to a web link.
- The bottom right pane is the Assignment Items pane.
This pane shows the assignment items available to add to your syllabus.
When you add an item using the
button, it is added to the session and assignment currently shown in the Syllabus pane.
You can choose an assignment from the list of Subchapter Items.
You can add your own assignment by typing in the Related Links Name and Address areas.
Finally, you can add any text you like by typing in the Comment area.
